I dont mind musicals that much i think this one could have had a little less singing and dancing. I think that the characters however were beautifully portrayed. I think that this is a pretty universal movie in that it shows that no one is a perfect human being. We all make mistakes...which does not mean they are ok but that we need to forgive.

I feel that King Arthur responds to Guenevere and Lance's love the way so many couldn't. King Arthur forgives them and figures they are human why should i hold them back from their love when they are probably in just as much agony as i am?

I think that the christian aspect in this move is that Christ dreams of a United body which he accoplishes through his death. King Arthur tries to unite all of England and like Christ he sends an invitation out to everyone but he does not force them to join his roundtable and it is their choice whether to join the united body just like Christ does not force us to accept him. It all comes down to a choice.

Some arcytypes are the shadow, the wise old man, the sidekick, the maiden, and the trickster. The maiden is Guenevere who is hopelessly trapped in a relationship with King Arthur that she wants to love but she can not force herself to love him. The wise old man is Merlin who King Arthur makes several reverences too as the one that taught him most of what he knows and who guided him through life. The sidekick is Lancealot who is always is by King Arthur's side and is his biggest ally even though in the end he falls in love with Guenevere. The shadow would be King Arthur because you can never really tell whose side he is on in the beginning with Lance Guenevere hating each other. The Trickster would be King Arthurs son who turns the knights of the round table against each other. :)

This is very insightful, Brandon, particularly the part about Christ's invitation and the Round Table. I would, however, like to see more attention to basic spelling and proofreading, even on this casual blog format.
